The counterpart of the previous chapter: when the chart's elements obstruct each other at every turn, the person carries a constant burden. But the text is careful to distinguish turbid from merely thin — a clean but scanty chart also wears a person down, and a half-clear, half-turbid one is workable, if uneven: successes and reverses alternate through the day. Diagnosis, again, is about which kind of difficulty you are actually looking at.
