With and Against (Shun Ni)

One thing you must not oppose
A chart may be read forwards or backwards, but there is one thing that cannot be pushed against: the direction the whole configuration is already moving. Where the mass of qi goes, the reading follows — the same element is a friend when the current carries it and an enemy when it is asked to stand still. In practice this chapter governs the luck cycles: the useful reading is the one that goes with the movement, not the one that corrects it.
