The chart is calculated, not interpreted

The chart is computed by a deterministic algorithm on your device or on our server, never drawn by hand. It reads the Four Pillars — year, month, day and hour — and derives the Ten Gods, the luck pillars, the annual pillars and the Symbolic stars from them by fixed rules and lookup tables. The same birth data returns the same chart every time: the pillars, the Ten Gods, the luck pillars and the Symbolic stars are identical on every visit. One part does move with the calendar — the annual-pillar window is positioned at the year you are viewing it.

The hour boundaries and the year and month boundaries are placed by true solar time rather than by the clock on the wall. The correction has three parts: the time-zone offset for the birth date, including daylight saving where it applied — this is the offset of the birth place's IANA time zone, and when no time zone resolves for that place we estimate the offset from its longitude instead, in which case daylight saving is not applied; four minutes for every degree of longitude away from the zone's central meridian; and the equation of time, the difference between the apparent sun and the mean sun. The corrected time, not the entered clock time, is what the pillars are computed from.

The reading text is written by a language model

The interpretation text is not written by a person. Each chapter is generated by a language model from a system prompt that we write and maintain, plus the computed chart for that chapter rendered as structured data.

The reading is assembled chapter by chapter: the day master and the five elements for the shortest tier, and the Ten Gods, the luck pillars and the annual forecast added as the tier grows. Each chapter is generated from its own prompt, which carries the computed chart plus the classical quotations the engine selected, and the chapters share that same deterministic data. What the model writes from that input is not machine-checked.

This is a language model producing text over computed data. It is not a human reading, and it is not verified for accuracy by anyone.

You want a named human practitioner standing behind the reading. We have none, and that gap does not close by writing more pages.
