Volume 1: Foundations & Useful Gods · Chapter 26
On Luck Completing or Transforming a Structure (Xing Yun Cheng Ge Bian Ge)
Shen Xiaozhan (Qing Dynasty)
The Luck Can Finish or Replace the Structure
Beyond helping or harming, the luck can complete a structure the chart left unfinished, or transform it into a different one altogether — and Shen ranks this heavier than ordinary like and dislike. Completion means the structure was formed but not full; transformation means the luck draws a hidden stem out of a vault or gathers branches into a new element, so that a wealth structure becomes something else. He ends with the two counter-cases: a completion that is unwelcome, and a transformation that is harmless because the chart already holds the remedy.
