The oldest surviving Chinese classic devoted entirely to the dwelling. It sets out the twenty-four compass positions, the boundary between yin and yang houses, the five deficiencies and five abundances of a home, and the correct order for repair work — the shared ancestor of every later feng shui school, including Eight Mansions.
